263 people in region die every week from cancer
OVER the next ten years, Yorkshire Cancer Research has vowed to reduce the statistics showing 263 people died every week from cancer in the region.
Yorkshire has one of the worst cancer survival rates in the UK.
Yorkshire Cancer Research believes this is partly due to a lack of funding by the Government and national charities to researchers and clinicians throughout the region.
