89-year-old woman mugged
An 89-year-old woman suffered cuts and grazes to her knees after falling to the ground when a man snatched her bag.
The woman was walking through the cut between National Avenue and Windsor Road in west Hull at around 4.30pm on Friday October 5 when she was approached by a man on a bicycle.

The man grabbed her by the shoulder and demanded her bag, pulling her over in the process.
The man rode off onto National Avenue in the direction of Perth Street. He is described as a white man, aged in his mid 20s, slim build, 5ft 6ins tall, clean shaven, wearing grey clothing that was possibly denim.

The stolen bag is made of tan coloured leather with two zips on and contained cash, a bank card and other personal items.
The elderly victim was shaken by the incident but fortunately only sustained minor injuries.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the suspect riding his cycle in the area at the relevant times.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 483 of 05 September 2012.

“There seems to be some mistake.
A "...man..." would not undertake such an activity and would have stepped aside to allow the 89-yr old go by: however, some junkie scumbag with 50 previous convictions would, as the legal system acts irresponsibly to enable them carry out these type of attacks, along with the entertainingly-titled drug workers and the circus of rehabilitation.
