A1079 near Beverley closed following accident
The A1079 is closed between Beverley and Hull following a crash between a car and motorcycle earlier today.
Police were called to the collision on the A1079 approximately one mile out of Beverley towards Hull at 11:03am today (Monday, September 3).
Police and ambulance are in attendance at the collision which involved a blue Toyota estate car and a black Honda motorcycle.The A1079 is currently closed between Killingwoldgraves and Jocks Lodge.
The motorcyclist has suffered a broken shoulder and leg as well as extensive bruising but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
