A165 crash woman, 81, seriously ill in Hull Royal Infirmary
An 81-year-old woman who suffered head injuries in a crash on the A165 remains seriously ill in hospital.
The woman, from Pocklington, is also receiving treatment in Hull Royal Infirmary for several broken bones.
She was airlifted to hospital with a 54-year-old woman after the accident at the Grindale and Bempton crossroads on Tuesday.
The 54-year-old, who is also from Pocklington, suffered a broken shoulder and also remains in Hull Royal Infirmary.

Both women were in the back of a blue Nissan Note which collided with a Volkswagen Golf at 12.30pm.
The 79-year-old male driver of the Nissan was also taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment to whiplash and has since been discharged.
The driver of the Golf, a 74-year-old man, and the front-seat passenger, a 72-year-old woman, both from Bridlington, suffered whiplash and bruising and were taken to Scarborough General Hospital.
The road was closed until 5.30pm.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, quoting log 288 of September 4.
