It is always best to visit your salon to get the colour right – if you already have colour on your hair, a semi-permanent could "grab" onto certain areas and make it look too bright.
Your stylist will be able to mix a colour that is unique to you and cover your hair evenly.
To style your hair like Kelly's, you need to get the rollers out.
Start by shampooing and conditioning as normal, and then applying your styling product evenly through towel-dried hair.
For this kind of look, I would use something with a little more hold, so Va Va Voom Mousse would be perfect. Then, depending on what rollers you have, you can style in two ways.
If you have Velcro, plastic or sponge rollers, waft your hair off using your hairdryer to remove any excess moisture.
Then take a section of hair no wider or deeper than the roller you are going to use, and wind the roller down to sit neatly on your scalp.
Make sure the ends of your hair are neat and tidy, as if they are not, then your hair will kink out on the ends spoiling the finished look.
If you have heated rollers, these need to be used on dry hair, so dry your hair off completely.
Using the same method, taking a section of hair no wider or deeper than the roller you are using, wind down your roller to sit neatly on your scalp. Leave the rollers to cool completely.
When your hair is completely dry or cooled, carefully remove the rollers.
