Alcohol campaign targets clubbers
Clubbers and pub-goers are being targeted as part of an alcohol awareness campaign in Beverley, Driffield, Bridlington and Goole.
Confidential advice will be available over the next few months on drink, drugs and sexual health at licensed premises across the region.

Free alcohol unit calculators and screening tests will also be available to customers.
East Riding Council’s licensing authority has joined forces with the Safer Communities drugs team and NHS East Riding, the county’s primary care trust, as part of the scheme.
Tina Holtby, licensing manager for the council, said: “We are not intending to preach to young clubbers, but it is important to get messages out.”
The first events
are planned for Bridlington and will take place on Thursday at Utopia and on Friday, May 1, at the Pavilion.
Events will take place in April and May at The Cross Keys in Beverley, the Lounge Bar in Driffield and the Royal Hotel in Goole.
