“Years ago, Hessle Road was always looked upon by snobs as a rough poor area, but in reality the majority of Hessle roaders didn't steal or cause trouble. They were more decent than those who called them. Now it has a massive immigrant population, tribes of travellers setting up camp, an army of druggies being deliberately dumped there, uncaring greedy landlords letting houses to undesirables, and far more than its fair share of care in the community individuals roaming around, so no wonder its so bad now. Its genuine community was uprooted and Its just been slowly allowed to become a ghetto.”
