Arrests after 80-year-old woman targeted in distraction burglary
An 80-year-old woman has been the victim of a distraction burglary.
The pensioner was in her home in Bridlington Road, Full Sutton, on Tuesday when a man knocked at her door, claiming he had lost his ball in her garden.

The elderly lady went into the back garden with the man, leaving her front door unlocked.
When she returned, she noticed a different man rushing to leave her front garden, get into a car and drive. Her handbag was missing.

Officers stopped the car on the A1079 towards Market Weighton. Two men, aged 44 and 29, both of Hull, have been arrested.
