Assem Allam's firm to sponsor Hull club Costello FC
WEST Hull community club Costello FC have secured a two-year sponsorship from Hull City owners Assem and Ehab Allam.
Allam Marine, the Allam's Melton-based company, will carry its name on the shirts for the next two years following a 'significant donation' from the company.
It follows an investment last year to help it push forward plans for new changing rooms, toilets and a cafe at Wold Road School.
The club has been granted planning consent for the facilities and is awaiting match funding before construction can get underway.

Assem Allam, managing director and owner of Allam Marine and Hull City, said the facilities, once built, will give the youth team very professional surroundings.
"Costello FC is using the funds they have raised very effectively to produce a first class facility for the football team and wider community, and that is precisely the type of project I want my donations to support," Allam said.
"It is because of this great work I have decided to sponsor the team, to help them go from strength to strength and continue engaging young people in football.
"I have said many times that sport is a force for good for young people because it teaches them valuable lessons in life, so the more youngsters we can encourage to take it up the better."
Kerry Johnson, one of the founders of Costello FC and current club secretary, said: "For a small club like ours to have support like this is truly invaluable, we are extremely lucky. It means we can get more children into football, which in turn means we have a bigger pool of talent to choose from.
"We're very grateful to Assem Allam and Allam Marine. Costello FC is a huge part of the community around where we are based and this sponsorship deal will ensure it remains so for a long time to come."
The sponsorship follows a recent investment by the Allams into North Ferriby, believed to be of around £100,000.
