“slammer, what games are you watching? how you get stuck into newton and galea?? newton has scored more tries and made more line breaks than any other forward in the game, his tackle rate is right up there as well with minimum amount of misses, i'm just not sure what else you would like him to do??? please explain because i think he gives it just about 100% every week. Now for galea, yes he has had some injuries this year but when he has pplayed he has been very consistent just like last year. How is it that Rovers were out enthused when they all knew they were playing for their places in next weeks clash at the KC - they should have been chomping at the bit!
For Rovers to show consistency they needed to reach an overall league points total of 30+ but as usual and as we have seen too often this season they once again flattered to deceive - falling short again.
Well, its now knock-out rugby - are Rovers going to be made to look like chumps or are they going to produce the goods?
Its time for Newts, Galea, Vella and Fisher to follow Lovegrove and Nethers example and lead the pack from the front. We know they can do it but none of them have hit the heights of last season. I ain't happy!”

“Im hoping for an 80 minute performance from Rovers which will set them up nicely for the play-offs. Anything less will have us going into the play-offs on the back of 2 defeats - now that would be dejavu all over again.”
