Bailiffs to call in fines
HULL: Fine-dodgers in Hull are being targeted in a month-long campaign.
Operation Crackdown will see HMCS Court Enforcement Officers and Humberside Police carry out a series of blitzes on offenders' homes to collect unpaid fines.
Bailiffs will also be issued with warrants to confiscate property.
Where necessary, those who refuse to co-operate will be arrested.

“Not before time. Miscreants have long been getting away with ignoring fines because they were confident that no action would be taken. This should recoup monies owed and send out a message that they will be pursued. All I am wondering is why it has taken so long to go down this road.”
