Benefits and grants is one of the key themes and areas the Bounce Back campaign will be looking at.

There are millions of pounds worth of benefits and grants out there just waiting to be applied for.

This can range from small claims through to large European grants which can be used to help boost the region’s communities.

It is the sort of cash individuals, families, community groups and businesses should be getting to grips with to help them through the difficult times.

Throughout Bounce Back we will be looking at what is available from the region’s two local authorities and through bodies such as regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.

Through the campaign, the Mail, along with members of our expert panel, will also ensure people in Hull and the East Riding gain more information and advice about the benefits they are entitled to during the recession and how to claim them.
