Beverley Town 3 St Andrews PC 0

Town quickly had St Andrews on the back foot.

Lampough and Durham combined to free Durham whose curling shot was deflected away for a corner by Bowers.

Another good effort by O'Connell was also deflected wide.

Town broke the deadlock on 38 minutes by working the ball well to Durham, his floated cross was not dealt with by Bowers to leave Winfield an easy finish.

St Andrews' best chance came from a corner, but lacked the cutting edge.

Town dominated the second half. Kershaw turned well only to see his shot come back off the bar.

Last-ditch defending kept Town at bay as Durham closed in on goal.

Town survived a scare on 68 minutes when slack defending allowed a cross and free header, which came back off the post to safety.

Town's response was emphatic, Jagger rose well to head a goal bound effort which was parried into Kershaw's path for an easy tap-in.

From the kick off sloppy play let in Durham one-on-one with the keeper to finish excellently to seal the win.
