“This article is just trying to drum up hatred against the red car owning community. Most red car owners are peaceful folk who would never dream of keeping bags of toffee in the glove compartment.
Since the HDM published this story, I have heard accounts of red car drivers being vebaly abused, & even assaulted outside of the Ferrari garage while attending a 45K service.
Show some responsibility HDM”

“This does seem to be on the rise round here. Parents beware, tell your children this tale, so it will be recalled if they are approached.”

“so it seems that all the people who red arrowed my last comment are more than happy that the paper has not given any information regarding a description of the potential child snatcher and nor do they care what this "man" may do to the next unwitting child who doesnt know what to look out for......I'm a man and I may own a 4 door red car,so should I be looking over my shoulder 24/7 cos people only know that its a man in said car regardless of what he looks like!!!!”

“A man................anything else to help other parents and children recognise him apart from that otherwise you got probably 100's of 1000's even millions to fear?..........was he white/black/olive skinned?,did he have facial hair/clean shaven?,did he speak with a local accent or from out of town or even abroad?,what was he wearing? etc etc etc.....all these thing are very important and seem to be completely missing from this story.....WHY?”

“This has happened a few times in the last couple of months I think parents who have children in primary school should walk them to school and back.”
