HULL: A business owner is hoping to breathe new life into Trinity Square with a market today.
The square in Hull's Old Town was once renowned for its outdoor market and some say the area has not been the same since it closed.
Now, Julie Buffey, of Roisin Dubh, in Hepworth Arcade, is hoping to revive the tradition with an 18-stall craft fair.
EAST YORKS: Four horses and a selection of riding equipment has been stolen from Valley Farm in Smook Hills Road, Hollym.
The theft happened between noon on August 22 and noon on August 28.
Anyone with information is urged to call Humberside Police on 101, quoting reference number 1927075.
EAST YORKS: A man suffered serious injuries following a crash near Pocklington.
The man was driving through Shiptonthorpe on the A1079 when his black Toyota Yaris hit a garden wall at around 9.30pm on Wednesday.
Firefighters had to rescue the man from the vehicle before he was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.
The driver suffered a suspected broken arm and underwent treatment for his injury.
