EAST YORKS: The British Heart Foundation is encouraging residents to donate clothes they will never wear again to help in the fight against heart disease.

Regional manager Debbie Boylen said: "With 36 per cent of people revealing they can't be bothered to get rid of clothes that don't suit them, we know there are plenty of unwanted items. Just one bag of unwanted items is worth £20 in the fight against heart disease, which makes a real difference."

Visit bhf.org.uk/bagathon for details.
