EAST YORKS: A Beverley beauty salon stylist is heading to London for one of the biggest shows of the year.

Jayne Allinson, of De Lacy Spa, in Saturday Market, will be styling the hair of the Sass & Bide runway models at London fashion week on Friday. The competition to win the honour was stiff, with hundreds of entries.

The stylist said: "It's great working in a busy salon like De Lacy Spa, meeting new people all the time and then getting the chance to do some amazing photoshoots too."

Salon director Kerris Lacy said: "The team has worked so hard to get to this level."

The Warm Front scheme provides things such as loft and cavity-wall insulation, draught-proofing, hot-water-tank jackets and additional heating solutions such as installing a new central heating system or repairing an existing one.
