Humberside Fire Service faces £4m cuts
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service will have to make cuts of up to £4m in the next three years.
A report produced by the service's director of finance, Kevin Wilson, says it is facing a budget deficit of more than £6m before 2016.
The report, entitled Financial Outlook 2013.14 Onwards, says: "The next two years will present a significant challenge to the authority's finances.
"The authority currently has a sound financial position but we must not be complacent and should continue wherever possible to ensure the service remains efficient and effective.
