In Brief
EAST RIDING: Nurses from across the county are getting involved in a day to raise awareness of care services.
Dignity Action Day aims to encourage people to take responsibility for the quality of care in care homes, hospitals and through home help services.
A number of nurses acting as "dignity champions" will be raising awareness of the action day, which takes place on Friday, February 1.
Nurse Claire Marson said: "It's about showing them the same respect I would like myself or a member of my family to receive if we needed care."
