HULL: A man was assaulted and had his car stolen during an attack in east Hull.
The victim was parked outside the Falcon Hotel with a passenger in the car when he was approached by two men.
They stole money from him before assaulting him and driving off in his black Ford Fiesta.
It happened at about 11pm on Friday and the car has since been recovered.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crime and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

HEDON: The Wardrobe Boutique is holding a closing down sale and offering up to 50 per cent off all clothing at the shop.
The business started out above a hair salon in Fletchergate and moved to Watmough's Arcade in September 2010.
Owner Jo Adams said: "We thought it was time to hang up the hat. We've had a fabulous three years but times are hard and rents are high.
"I am continuing to do the pixie bags as they have been phenomenally successful.
"The clothes will cease to trade at the boutique from the end of January."
The pixie bags will still be available from the hair salon and via Facebook.
BRIDLINGTON: Jimmy Carr returns to The Spa in August as part of a tour featuring more than 200 dates across the UK.
His new show, Gagging Order, will see him return to Bridlington on Friday, August 16.
