Beverley MP Graham Stuart launches flood insurance petition
E YORKS: A petition has been launched by an East Yorkshire MP in a bid to ensure householders in the region can receive flood insurance.
The Statement of Principles, due to expire in June, ensures firms will provide flood cover as long as the Government continues to invest in flood defences.
Now, Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has launched the petition to put pressure on ministers.
He said "The Government is working with the Association of British Insurers to find a replacement but this is not happening fast enough and pressure needs to be applied to secure a fair deal for homeowners.
Our transparent fixed sales fees set us aside from the competition, offering full Estate Agency Service for a fixed fee regardless of the value of your home.

"This is an issue that will affect countless homeowners across the constituency and we need as many signatures as possible to take the voice of Beverley and Holderness to Downing Street."
