GOOLE: Eight stolen bicycles have been recovered following a police raid in the town.

Police executed a drugs and theft warrant at a house in Boothferry Road.

One man was arrested and another handed himself into the police later.

Both men have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

BRIDLINGTON: Marie Curie Fundraising has raised £2,000 from an appeal in the town.

Donations came from a number of people and groups, including Practice One at Bridlington Medical Centre, which raised £519 from patients donating when they went for flu jabs.
