In Brief
HULL: A bid of £250 has been submitted for Luke Campbell's boxing gloves.
The Olympic champion donated them to the Lord Mayor, Councillor Danny Brown, to raise money for his charities.
The auction went live on Wednesday, with a bid of £35 submitted. The second bid, submitted yesterday, was for £250.
The signed gloves will go to the highest bidder, with the money raised going to the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal Fund, which this year supports Age UK (Hull), Case and Hull and East Riding Institute for the Blind.
