HULL: Pregnant women who want to do some gentle exercise can join YogaBellies classes.

The classes are now being held on Monday evenings at Beyond Coffee in Chanterlands Avenue.

YogaBellies for Pregnancy covers a range of themes important for expectant mums and includes yoga postures that can be adjusted for each trimester.

Founder Cheryl MacDonald said: "The classes are all about bringing mums together and preparing them mentally and physically for the most amazing day of their lives."

Each class lasts 75 minutes and they run for eight weeks, with each workshop focusing on a different aspect of pregnancy and birth.

BEVERLEY: One of Wales' oldest male voice choirs will be performing in the town in April.

The concert will feature Côr y Penrhyn and is being held at Toll Gavel United Church at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 13.

It has been organised by the Welsh Society of Hull and East Yorkshire and proceeds will be donated to Age UK East Riding.

The society's chairman Nesta Merrells said: "It is a great honour to be able to welcome Côr y Penrhyn to Beverley."

Tickets, which cost £10, are available from the Beverley Tourist Information Centre at 34 Butcher Row, or by calling 01482 391672.

ANLABY: Scope charity shop is running low on stock and would like anyone with donations to come forward.

EAST YORKS: Pupils at the village primary will have a day off normal lessons on Tuesday.

Children will take part in a Sustainability Day when activities will include junk modelling, design technology work using recycled packaging, poetry, science, recycling and Fairtrade cooking.
