£10m investment in Patrington Haven Caravan and Leisure Park
LEISURE: The owners of Patrington Haven Caravan and Leisure Park plan to double their recent investment in the park to £10m.
This ongoing five-year programme of phased development has been announced following a successful application to extend the opening season at the park from ten months to 11 months.

Managing director Guy Sparkes said: "The longer season and planned investment will be a boost for the local economy and give south-east Holderness a greater potential as a tourist destination.

"Last year, despite being in the middle of a recession, we invested well over £5m in building the Country Club to provide the park with a state-of-the-art gym, fitness rooms, beauty and treatment spa, virtual golf simulator (Golfzon), indoor heated swimming pool, Guys bar and restaurant and the lakeside lounge. We also built an outdoor all-weather sports court and children's play area."
