Burglar brandished crowbar after homeowners disturbed him
SNAITH: A burglar confronted a man with a crowbar after he was caught breaking into a couple's home.
The man used a ceramic plant pot to smash the glass in a back kitchen door to force his way into the house in Gowdall Lane, between 11.50am and 1.45pm on Monday.

The offender was disturbed by the return of the homeowners.
He ran down the stairs, barged past the woman and ran out of the house onto the front driveway, where he brandished a crowbar at the woman's partner before getting into an old Vauxhall Astra estate car.

The burglar, described as a white man in his mid 20s, is about 6ft, clean-shaven and of broad build.
