The road was closed in both directions until around 5.30pm.
Police said the accident happened shortly before 2pm.
A silver Astra and a blue Land Rover were involved.
Three people who were on the bus are being treated for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Two people, who are thought to have been travelling in the Astra, are also receiving treatment for minor injuries.

“Sorry folks but it has to be done:
There were fairies at the bottom of my garden
And, while I'm not a man to raise a fuss
I must tell you all how it really galls me
To see them all get flattened by a bus.
There was carnage midst the boggarts and the brownies
While the leprechauns just managed to leap clear
No wonder few come visiting our city
When we treat them to such terror over here.
The will o'wisps, the nickels and the hobbits
Sat quivering in terror on the ground.
It really traumatised the trolls from Longhill
While the goblins, in sheer panic, ran around.
The sight set all my banshees loudly wailing
While the sirens stopped their singing in surprise
The pixies and the sprites hid in the rhubarb
And sat there with their hands across their eyes.
So come all you folk that drive around this city
And cut the poor old fairy folk some rope
With goings on like this it's little wonder
That the national elf is struggling to cope.

You should find the tree that produces the oxygen that you breathe and apologise to it.
Just hope it hasn't been knocked down by a bus.”

I was one of them and my neck/back/head hurts.
(Delete whichever two gets the least compensation.)
By midnight tonight, there will have been around 500 people on this bus.”

Dear dear, another accident involving a Vauxhall and a Land Rover. They should be banned from the highways.
Where you there?
