CHARITY GOES TO THE DOGS
EAST RIDING charity Osprey is going to the dogs – literally! They are organising an excursion to Doncaster Greyhound Stadium on Friday September 28, to include coach travel and a hot and cold buffet, plus the chance to enjoy a night of greyhound racing, with races including the Osprey Stakes.
Tickets are still available but you will need to book soon. They cost £35 per person, including travel and buffet, with pick-up and return points in Willerby, North Ferriby and possibly Hull.
If you would like to order tickets, please contact committee member Roy Woodcock as soon as possible on 077300 52727 or by emailing roy.woodcock@gmail.com.
Osprey is a charity which funds research into osteoporosis or brittle bone disease in Hull and East Yorkshire. Through fundraising events and donations from benefactors, more than £1.5 million has been raised since the charity was founded in 1992.
