Cash spent on leaflets
E YORKS: Humberside Police Authority spent almost £50,000 on printing, new figures show.
The figures, revealed by the TaxPayers' Alliance, showed £43,878 was spent on publishing the Local Police Summary and a leaflet explaining the police precept.
The leaflets cost £11,510.
A TaxPayers' Alliance spokesman said: "Communicating the work of the police to the public shouldn't cost the earth and doesn't require a glossy magazine."
