Lord Of The Flies – the iconic story about a group of boys stranded on an island – is to be staged in Hull.

The production, based on the novel by William Golding, is to be performed by the Northern Academy of Performing Arts.

To prepare for the show, the cast has spent a day at Bail Wood, near Aldbrough, where they made shelters and cooked food, alongside rehearsing sections of the play in an outdoor setting.

When & where: Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, 7pm; Sunday March 3, 2pm. The Northern Academy of Performing Arts, Anlaby Road, Hull. Tickets cost £5 to £7 and are available on the door or by calling 01482 310690.
