City's mobile library set to undergo facelift
HULL: The city council's mobile library is being taken out of service this week for a facelift.
It will be out of use from Thursday and will be back on the roads on August 1.
During the break, the vehicle will have its bodywork repainted, the interior floor tiles replaced and a valet of the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
City councillor Terry Geraghty, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: "We apologise for the disruption and inconvenience this may cause those using the Mobile Library.

Users of the library will be able to use any of the city's 15 other libraries or renew items on the council's website at www.hull cc.gov.uk or by calling 01482 300300.
On its return to service, the library will also be visiting Barbara Robson Playing Fields in Sutton and Bowmont Way, Kingswood.
