Hull Daily Mail

This is a whitewash of a report.

Approval has been given with no thought for tourism and the many visitors to the area, or for the people living 750m or closer from the turbines.

The detrimental impact has been grossly understated.

In my opinion, the local community has been walked over and no community fund benefits have been guaranteed by the inspector.

The community should be very angry about this decision and the way it has been made.

This is the reality of this government's uncaring, cavalier attitude.

The comments of the inspector are ridiculous.

Apart from acknowledging the strength of feeling against the development by residents, the inspector has whitewashed over everybody's concerns and said little about the public's representations.

“Give me a clump of wind turbines any day!!!!! compare these to the old coal powered stations coupled with massive cooling towers or better still lets build gigantic dams all over the country and power turbines that way. wind turbines are the cheapest and cleanest form of large scale electricity and if you don,t want them around i suggest you go back to using candles for lighting, throw your tv,computer, washing machines, radio, etc into the skip, put logs on your fire,do your laundry in a dolly tub over a wood fired boiler, i suggest thinking of a cleaner way of giving electricity to the masses before you get up on that rickety old soapbox and do your moronic moanings about wind turbines”
