Concern for 'abduction' woman who ran from car in Hull city centre
A WOMAN who is believed to be the victim of an attempted abduction is being urged to contact the police.
Officers want to speak to a woman who briefly got into a man's car in Ferensway before running away last Tuesday night.
The woman had walked from the area of the Sugar Mill nightclub in Dagger Lane, along the side of Princes Quay, past Primark and on to Ferensway. There, she crossed the road to the St Stephen's shopping centre side.
A man in a silver Land Rover Freelander drove alongside her and it is believed the woman briefly got in the car before security staff from St Stephen's intervened.

Detective Constable Rob Milner said: "It is currently rather unclear as to what happened, however, we are concerned about the woman involved and would like to resolve the matter by speaking to her.
"It may be that nothing untoward took place but I would urge her to get in touch with us so we can be sure that she is fit and well."
The woman, who had long, straight, dark hair, was wearing knee-high black boots, black tights and a black, three-quarter- length coat.
The driver has been arrested and released on bail.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting log number 740 of February 13.
