Hull Dockers go down 46-12 to Siddal
UNDER-STRENGTH Hull Dockers proved no match for a Siddal side still harbouring hopes of winning the Premier Division title, going down 46-12.
The home side struck the first blow with just 11 minutes gone when winger Gareth Blackburn went in for a converted try.
However, he failed to add the conversion to a Scott Caley try when the full-back crossed the Dockers' line eight minutes later for 10-0.
Two tries in a four minute spell took Siddal in at the break leading 22-0, as firstly centre Richard Lopag found a way over.

Then skipper Nick Smith powered through with Blackburn converting.
The second half was just two minutes old when Blackburn grabbed his second try, followed by another for Caley.
Blackburn's off-day with the boot continued as he failed to add the conversions, but the game was already slipping away from the tiring Dockers.
With 50 minutes gone it was effectively game over as scrum-half Gareth Greenwood jinked his way through, with Blackburn's conversion making it 36-0.
Dockers never stopped working hard and were rewarded with a Jon Eccles try and conversion from Ben Hardcastle.
Eleven minutes from time Siddal man of the match Emmerson Newburn added another try for his side, with one from Lopag three minutes later.
One more Blackburn goal concluded the Siddal scoring, but Dockers had the final word when Karl Smirk went in and Hardcastle added the goal.
