COTTINGHAM Rangers 'A' produced one of their finest ever performances as they swept away the challenge of a very useful Westella & Willerby 'A' 5-0 in their under-14s Myton League game.

Cottingham dominated the early exchanges but the Westella defence held firm until Lee Stephenson broke the deadlock after 20 minutes.

Stephenson doubled the Cottingham lead shortly before half time as they pressed home their advantage.

Greg Drewery then swept Cott into a 3-0 lead shortly after the break and Stephenson completed his hat-trick shortly afterwards. Westella never stopped trying to haul themselves back into the game and forced a superb save from Charlie Dixon in the Cottingham goal, but the scoring was completed by Dylan Price who stroked the ball past the Westella keeper to give Cottingham a well deserved victory.

Cottingham Rangers: Charlie Dixon, Jack Clarkson, Lewis Winter, Liam Littlewood, Macauley Dawson, Greg Drewery, Luke Trafford, Jack McIlwaine, James Palmer, Matthew Jones, Kurtis Atkinson, Dylan Price, Lee Stephenson.
