Council's three major investments for seaside town
THE homes loans scheme is one of three significant current investments in Withernsea by East Riding Council.
The final phase of a £920,000 refurbishment of the town's main shopping street got under way last month.
Due to be completed in the New Year, the facelift for Queen Street includes new block- paved footways, resurfacing to the existing carriageway and new traffic signs, road marking and street furniture.
The works will close down in the run-up to Christmas, from December 16, and will recommence on January 6.
