Multi-million pound plans to expand a hotel near Beverley have been given the go-ahead.

East Riding councillors backed the proposed development at Tickton Grange Hotel.

Planners gave the green light to an outline application for the whole site and detailed plans for the first phase yesterday.

The development will include 30 new bedrooms, a special occasions building and is expected to double the existing 55-strong workforce.
