Danny Houghton extends Hull FC contract until 2017
Danny Houghton will stay at Hull until the end of the 2017 season, the club announced today.
The Players' Player of the Year has been rewarded after an outstanding season.
Houghton, who supported Hull as a youngster, said he "wouldn't want to be anywhere else".
"I’m really settled here, it’s my home-town club, we’ve just started a family and I just love playing for the club," he said.

Hull coach Peter Gentle has tipped Houghton, who was called up to the England Knights squad last year, as a future club captain.
"He is without doubt a future international at the highest level and he must be very close to receiving a call-up to the full England squad," he said.
"Already we’re seeing the benefit of his experience in the younger players in the squad, whilst I’m sure he’ll be a candidate for Hull FC captain in years to come."
