Day nursery's 'good' rating
GOOLE: Kingsway Day Nursery has received a good report from Ofsted inspectors.
The education watchdog rated the quality and standards of the early years provision as "good".
Verdicts of "good" were also given across the board for meeting the needs of children, contributing to the wellbeing of children and the effectiveness of leadership and manage- ment.
Inspectors said staff at the nursery, which is based at Kingsway Primary, have a good understanding of how young children learn and provide a range opportunities to promote their learning. Children are settled, happy and motivated in their play. and show good levels of curiosity and engagement.
