Dean Windass: Hull City can use lunchtime kick-off to strengthen position in promotion race
HULL City are in the great position today of having the chance to move within three points of top before anyone else plays.
A lunchtime kick-off is always enjoyable if you win, with the players and manager then able to relax as the rest of the results come in.

Impressive: Robbie Brady
I don’t see why Steve Bruce and his squad won’t be able to celebrate with a glass of something as they watch results elsewhere go in their favour.
Huddersfield have done well under Simon Grayson since coming up, but they don’t have the sort of quality which I think can cause City problems today.

The Tigers are playing with confidence and whatever system Bruce goes with, I fancy them to extend their winning run.
It’s a vital period coming up and going into Christmas on the back of a third successive win would be a huge boost.
Robbie Brady really impressed me against Crystal Palace and I’ll be at the game today looking to see what sort of impact he can have again.
I’m hoping I’ll be celebrating the win tonight alongside Ian Tottam.
It’s his 50th birthday and I’ll be joining one of City’s biggest fans for a special night to celebrate.

“Come on Tigers get 3 or 4 past Huddersfield early on today....Then sit back and watch the others falter!!!”
