Delays on M62 after accident closes lanes near Gilberdyke
Motorists are facing delays on the M62 after an accident closed three lanes near Gilberdyke this morning.
The Highways Agency says drivers are facing delays of about 15 minutes eastbound between junctions 37 and 38.

Normal traffic conditions are expected from 10.30am.
The accident happened at about 8.45am. Motorists described tailbacks of two miles.

“I was on drove past this on the west bound carriage way at about 8:45. There was a Caravan low loader straddling several lanes with Police car but no Ambulance there. Traffice was stationary with 4 miles of tailback and no sign of a diversion onto the A63 10 mins down the road at Howden.”
