Demolition work set to begin at Army museum
Plans to demolish the former Clariant chemical factory and disused Museum of Army Transport will begin in the next 10 days.
Preparatory work is already under way to level the site, which could make way for a mixed development of shops, restaurants, a hotel, cinema, offices, homes and the relocation of East Riding College.
But first, a public inquiry into the development in the shadow of Beverley Minster will begin, which is expected to take eight days.
