POLICE are still investigating the report of a sexual attack in the seaside town last weekend.

In a statement, Detective Inspector Tony Cockerill, pictured, of the public protection team, said: "We are continuing to investigate a report of a sexual assault in Hornsea on Sunday in which a 16-year-old girl alleges she was inappropriately touched by a man as she walked along a local alleyway at about 3am.

"We would appeal to anyone who thinks they have any information in connection with this alleged incident to call us on 101 referring to crime number 1958567."
