GLORIA Bielby, 36, right, of Bilton, was last seen by her sister on February 1, 1979.

At 11pm, her brother-in-law took her home as she was afraid to be on her own after receiving nuisance calls.

At 11.30pm she was given £3,500 cash by her husband to buy a car the next day.

On February 2, she was picked up from her home by a man in a car at 6am.

At 11.30am a witness claimed to have seen her placing a suitcase into a red Ford Escort driven by a man in his 40s.

She has not been seen since. Detectives have searched woodland for her, consulted psychics and worked with Interpol to try to crack the case.

Her husband offered a £500 reward after her disappearance.
