“People are saying it's probably space junk as there's that much floating about. If it's aliens checking for intelligent lifeforms East Hull is an epic fail.”

“Yeah we saw it in Hedon at 11.15 right from start to finish about 30 seconds worth came up from the east initially green then turning bright white as it started to break up overhead into a golden colour dropping down to the west..it was awesome and frightened my daughter to death i think she thought it was an ET invasion or was going to land on a populated area..turns out it was likely to be a man made satellite burning up..ie space junk..but they are still investigating. Whatever it was awesome!”

“I saw it out with my son and partner on a bike ride on Wednesday evening around 6.30 - 7pm, was near Humbleton (Aldbrough) and was falling from the sky at such a rate, it was pretty big and directly in front of us, had what looked like sparks coming from the back of it which were blue and red in colour and it seemed to come down in the fields somewhere, had a look but couldnt find it! what an amazing experience for my son to see.”
