A SERIES of exhibitions and events is underway at Beverley Treasury House and Art Gallery, pictured.

Beverley's Past Industry Beneath Your Feet presents recent archaeological finds from excavations in the town.

It focuses on the manufacturing and craft working in the area during the medieval and post-medieval periods and is a joint project with Humber Field Archaeology.

Wycinanki: The Art Of Polish Paper Cuts showcases 30 highly-detailed and intricate examples of paper cutting, a traditional Polish craft.

The exhibition is on tour from the Horniman Museum and Gardens, in London.

There are also two drop-in family art and craft sessions to tie in with the exhibitions Pattern and Print on Saturday, March 2, from 10am to 3pm and Medieval Making on Tuesday, March 26, from 10am to 3pm. The drop-ins are free, but a donation of £1 minimum per family to cover materials is requested.
