BEVERLEY: Dramatic Theatre Workshops is celebrating a £980 grant from East Riding Council.

The company runs weekly children's drama workshops at Beverley Minster Primary School on Saturday afternoons.

The company, run by Jon and Nicola Dixon, of Beverley, runs classes in two age groups for children aged 4 to 7 and 8 to 11.

June Mitchell, community arts officer for East Riding Council, said: "We are pleased to support Dramatic in their provision of fun, accessible drama workshops for young people in East Yorkshire."

Classes will return on Saturday, September 22.
