Dramatic aerial photos show scale of flooding across East Yorkshire
These aerial pictures show the true extent of flooding across the East Riding.
Pilot Tony Rodmell, 68, photographed a landscape transformed, with submerged fields stretching as far as the eye could see.

"I saw the floods in 2007 but I've never seen such extensive flooding there," said Tony, a former winchman on helicopters based at RAF Leconfield.
"It covered such a big area, from Tickton towards the south-east of Driffield."

Tony, who lives in Beverley, added: "It just didn't look like the East Riding.
"Almost every field had its own little pond."
Heavy rainfall across East Yorkshire has led to more than one river bursting its banks.
In the village of Burton Fleming, families were forced to spend Christmas Day bailing out their homes when the Gypsey Race watercourse overflowed.

“Simple plan, the EA should force farmers to build water containment tanks on their land, and be made to clear all ditches that they have neglected over the past years, pump excess water into the tanks and when we have a drought in March they will have water ready to use. The EA should also be tasked to clear and dredge all rivers, clear all slews gates and encourage more boats to use the rivers.”
