A spell of very wet weather will be in store today, a band of very heavy, slow moving precipitation is currently making it's way North Westwards off the Near continent (Belgium).

This spell of wet weather is breen brought about by a plume of warm moist air, being sourced from the South from an area of low pressure.

At the moment models suggest as much as 80-90mm of rain is possible during the early hours of this morning (7am) which will make the rush hour very hazardous indeed.

The rain will gradually clear in to the early afternoon.
