“Just received the `lib dems`leaflet that tells us they `have invested enough money to repair the roads from Hull to Bradford-and back`.Carl Minns must have his prayer mat out each night praying for bad weather so they have an excuse for not using their INVESTMENT`”

“Who needs the weather forecast from HDM? its on the TV every 15 mins, or is it just to fill the blanks up because the reporting / editorial staff dare not pinch any more stories from the real newspapers.
It should be renamed
The Dandy
Good job its on line, I would hate to have actually paid for it..”

“Lets hope those terrible gales we had yesterday don't return to cause rain drifts.
The HDM's weather obsession was quite endearing at first but has drifted in to the realms of the bizarre.”

“Apparently there's much concern nationally about whether local papers can survive in the digital age and current economic climate. It'd be tragic if the Hull Daily Mail was no longer able to provide this level of quality investigative journalism.”
